Our Benefits Overview
As a St. Cloud State University and State of Minnesota employee, health and security are vital to your success. That's why we offer a wide range of benefits for eligible employees and eligible family members—providing valuable coverage and resources to support your health, well-being, and everyday needs.
We offer a comprehensive benefit package through the State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) for benefit-eligible State employees and eligible family members. This comprehensive set of benefits may include the following coverages: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability Insurance (for Non-Managers), Optional Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurances, and Pre-Tax Expense Accounts, among other available optional benefits.

Open Enrollment is officially underway and closes November 18, 2026.
Benefits-eligible employees should og in to Employee Self Service to review and confirm their 2027 benefit elections. Even if you are not making changes, you should verify that your current elections and personal information are correct.- Enroll in or change benefit plans
- Add or remove eligible dependents
- Update beneficiary information
- Make pre-tax account elections
- Review life insurance and disability coverage
Complete these steps to ensure your 2027 benefits are in place.

- Review your benefit elections
- Verify dependents and beneficiaries
- Confirm your email and mailing address
- Review 2027 benefit changes
- Complete the "Check Out and Submit" step
- Save your confirmation statement
Important: Saving your elections is not the same as submitting them. You must complete the "Check Out and Submit" step for your enrollment changes to be processed.

Check your balances and transactions for your pretax medical/dental account! To register to use this site your Username will be your SEMA 4 (payroll) ID number + the last four digits of your SSN and your password will be your SEMA 4 (payroll) ID number + the last four digits of your SSN. Upon initial login you will be instructed to create and confirm a new password.
