Roles & Responsibilities
What you can do
Role: Subject Matter Expert
The WCMS (Cascade) makes it easy for content owners (Subject Matter Experts) to change and update the University Websites that you have access to. Using the WCMS you are able to:
- Update Content
- Edit Content
- Create New Content
When you submit a change, the update is sent to Workflow where it will be reviewed by University Communications and/or ITS. This assures that the information on our website is accurate, accessible and follows University Brand Standards.
What we do
Role: Technology & Communication Partner
If you need structural changes to your Website, you should work with University Communications and/or ITS. These changes include:
- Adding and/or Deleting Pages
- Site Reorganization (rearranging Navigation)
- Implemention of complex site updates, technology integration and/or design modifications
For these more complicated Website changes, you can send an email to web@stcloudstate.edu. That will automatically create a ticket in our ticketing system. A member of our team will review the request, figure out a plan to move your project forward and communicate with you.
