How do I get involved?

Fill out an application for a position. Most positions are elected during general or internal elections. A member will reach out to you to explain the election process.

When does Student Government meet?

Student Government meets 5 p.m. each Thursday in the Alumni Room of Atwood Memorial Center. Meetings are open to the public. If you cannot attend, view the minutes.

How to I request funds for my student organization?

The Senate Finance Committee Funding Request Form and instructions are available on the Department of Campus Involvement Student Organizations website. Your request will be reviewed by the Senate Finance committee and the Student Government Senate.

What are the eligibility requirements to become a senator?

To become a senator, you must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, be enrolled in at least six credits, be able to fulfill office hour requirements and attend Senate meetings.
