A) Student Government shall hold two general elections, the first during the Fall term and the second during the Spring term. These elections shall take place no later than the third week prior to the end of the term.
1) Student Government members elected during a Spring general election shall take office on the second Monday after the end of Spring final exams.
2) Student Government members elected during a Fall general election shall take office on the second Monday after the end of Fall final exams.
B) The Student Government shall hold internal elections on the first regular meeting of each calendar month during the academic year to fill any vacant Student Government Offices that can be filled through internal elections. Internal elections shall not be held for positions that can be filled through general elections during the calendar month that general elections are held.
