The Underground is a family-friendly place to hold a birthday party for kids of all ages!
After you submit your request, the Underground Staff will contact you to confirm center availability and event details. Please note that submitting a request does not confirm your birthday or event. Birthday Party Reservations must be confirmed 14 days in advance of the party date.
An $80 per hour charge applies for any reservation made during times when Atwood Memorial Center is not scheduled to be open. The Underground staff will notify you if your reservation request occurs during one of these times. For children and individuals with disabilities the Underground offers accessories for assistance with various activities to help make your experience more enjoyable.

Chartwells is the exclusive provider of food for events in the Underground and Atwood Memorial Center. No food and beverages will be sold or served in Atwood Memorial Center (AMC) or on the adjacent malls, unless purchased through or prepared by, Chartwells, AMC Convenience Store and/or AMC. This is in accordance with Minnesota State Law, Minnesota State, and St. Cloud State University policies and contracts.
Parking is available in pay lots and the campus Parking Ramp at all times. From 6 p.m. on Fridays through 3 a.m. on Mondays, parking is free in Parking lot L across the street from Atwood Center. Street parking is generally available on Saturdays and Sundays. Please pay attention to the specific rules and restrictions where you are parking; full campus parking information is available at the here.
