Checklist for Undergraduates

So, You're Ready to Graduate?

Congratulations! You're on your way to becoming a graduate of St. Cloud State University. In order to graduate, you will need complete all of the items below.

  • Submit a graduation form (login required). A $30 graduation fee will be applied to your account and payable through eServices. Further payment questions can be directed to Business Services.
  • Review your degree audit report via eServices and check the following for completion:
    • Liberal Education Program (LEP) requirements and Diversity requirements;
    • Racial Issues Graduation Requirement (RIGR)
    • Major and/or minor requirements (if applicable);
    • Overall credits, GPA, residency credits, and upper division credit requirements.
  • Resolve any unmet requirements indicated on your degree audit. This may involve having your advisor(s) send a course substitution the Office of Records and Registration, or register for additional credits.
    Update your diploma address in eServices under the "Account Management" link.
  • Continue to monitor your degree audit for completion of degree requirements. Work with your advisor to resolve any unmet requirements.
  • Check for holds and resolve unpaid balances for tuition/fees, fines, parking tickets, etc. You will not receive your diploma or be able to order transcripts unless your account is paid in full.
  • Successfully complete your coursework.
  • Complete the Post-Graduation Outcomes survey with the Career Center.
