The Husky Commencement Experience
St. Cloud State University holds commencement ceremonies twice yearly, one after each fall and spring term. Graduates can participate in the ceremony that is best for themselves and their guests. They will indicate this information in their Graduation Application.

May 2025: May 8 and 9, 2025
Upon applying for graduation, students have the option to register for commencement.
We invite you to bring your loved ones to campus and proudly wear your regalia. SCSU administration, faculty, and staff look forward to recognizing your accomplishments as you join our alumni community, which includes more than 131,000 forever Huskies worldwide.

Huskies Commencement Experience
Fall Commencement 2024 will be held on Thursday, December 12, and Friday, December 13, in Ritsche Auditorium with six ceremonies to celebrate our graduating Huskies. The individual ceremonies for colleges and schools will give each Husky a unique experience!
Bring your loved ones. Proudly wear your regalia. We will recognize your accomplishments as you join our community of alumni, which includes more than 131,000 Huskies worldwide.
Each student will be given six tickets for guests to attend the ceremony in person. Live streaming will also be available on the day of the event. On the schedule to the right, your family and friends can click the link (the name of the college/school) to stream the video.
Before we celebrate, Huskies must apply for graduation. Apply by Wednesday, November 13, for your name to be included in the Commencement program.
