The Husky Commencement Experience
St. Cloud State University holds commencement ceremonies twice yearly, one after each fall and spring term. Graduates can participate in the ceremony that is best for themselves and their guests. They will indicate this information in their Graduation Application.
Upon applying for graduation, students have the option to register for commencement.
We invite you to bring your loved ones to campus and proudly wear your regalia. SCSU administration, faculty, and staff look forward to recognizing your accomplishments as you join our alumni community, which includes more than 133,000 forever Huskies worldwide.

Fall 2025 Commencement
Fall Commencement 2025 for graduate and undergraduate students will be held December 12 and 13, respectively, in Ritsche Auditorium. Ceremony times will be posted after the graduation application deadline of October 31.
Each graduating student will receive five guest tickets for the in-person ceremony. Live streams of each ceremony will be made available for those who cannot join in person.
