Graduate students of all populations – St. Cloud campus, Twin Cities, online, and international – can use these resources to prepare for their journey to earning their master degrees. It is important to attend your orientation, become familiar with your campus, and connect with resources before classes begin.

Events for All New Graduate Students
Welcome new graduate students! We offer a variety of orientation options and opportunities to connect at the start of fall and spring terms. We encourage you to use the Graduate Student Guidebook to familiarize yourself with the resources and opportunities at St. Cloud State.
Synchronous Online Orientation
Join the Graduate Studies team and campus partners for a welcome to St. Cloud State and an introduction to some critical campus resources. There will be time for questions.

Graduate Student Online Forms Drop-In Sessions
Graduate students submit a variety of online forms over the course of your graduate program.
Join us online to learn:
- how to submit the most common forms used in all graduate programs,
- where to find important graduate student graduation and program completion deadlines, and
- engage in Q&A.
Events for International Students (St. Cloud and Twin Cities)
Welcome new international graduate students! Graduate Studies offers an orientation session specifically for international students new to graduate education on the St. Cloud campus. This is offered in addition to the required international orientation and the optional, but recommended online orientation and orientation sessions offered to all incoming graduate students.
International Graduate Student Welcome and Orientation (St. Cloud based students)
International graduate students new to St. Cloud State or new to graduate education are encouraged to attend this session with the School of Graduate Studies staff.

International Student Orientation for St. Cloud Campus Students
Twin Cities based international students do not need to plan to come to St. Cloud. You can join many events online or from North Hennepin Community College.

All Campus New Student Events
Huskies First Four is our campus-wide welcome to St. Cloud State. There are a number of events open to all new students. Feel free to join in the fun!
Friday, August 21
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Campus Picnic | Take a break and enjoy lunch with the campus community. This is a chance to relax, meet other students, and celebrate the start of the year together. Atwood Mall
7 p.m. Men's Soccer vs Bethel | Cheer on the Huskies at Husky Stadium. Student entry to athletic events is free.
Saturday, August 22
8-10 p.m. Outdoor Movie Night | Grab a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy Scary Movie under the stars with fellow Huskies. It is a relaxed way to wrap up the day, spend time with friends, and enjoy one more evening together before classes begin. Atwood Mall
Sunday, August 23
3-4 p.m. Ice Cream Social | Grab an ice cream treat, connect with friends and visit with Orientation Leaders, faculty, staff, and university administrators. It is a chance to get any final questions answered and head into the first day of classes feeling confident and connected. Atwood Mall
