Graduate education strives to foster an attitude of intellectual inquiry and to support students in developing research skills that may be applied in a professional context.
As a graduate student at St. Cloud State University, you will have opportunities to engage in scholarly and creative work, to apply research to professional practice and to assess the outcomes of interventions.
Graduate student research is submitted to the institutional repository and available to researchers and practitioners around the world. Check out some of our graduate student culminating projects in The Repository.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs provides 20-40 student research funds each year.
The funds support academic research and creative activity by undergraduate and graduate students under the direction of a faculty member.
Funds are awarded up to $1,500 per project through an application process. The average award is $750.
