Committed to Transparency and the Prevention of Hazing at St. Cloud State University

The Stop Campus Hazing Act (SCHA), enacted on December 23, 2024, amends the Clery Act to prioritize the prevention of and transparency about hazing incidents at colleges and universities.

The report includes the following information:

  • The name of the student organization involved
  • General description of the violation that resulted in a finding of responsibility
    • Whether the violation involved the abuse or illegal use of alcohol or drugs
    • The findings of the institution
    • Any sanctions placed on the student organization by the institution, as applicable
  • The dates on which:
    • The incident was alleged to have occurred
    • The investigation into the incident was initiated
    • The investigation ended with a finding that a hazing violation occurred
    • The institution provided notice to the student organization that the incident resulted in a hazing violation

The report does not contain any personally identifiable information.

Annual statistics on hazing are available on the Annual Security & Fire Report page. The first hazing statistics will be included in the October 2026 report.

The Campus Hazing Transparency Report is released twice a year.
