Class Descriptions

Boot Camp

Push your limits with plyometric drills, strength, power, resistance and core moves. Improve overall fitness, agility, speed and athleticism in this upbeat hi-intensity class.

TRX® Kettlebell Fusion

Improve strength and define muscles! TRX® is a training system that builds strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. The Kettlebell is the ultimate all-in-one strength and conditioning tool. If you are tired of the gym and are looking maximize your workout this class is for you.

45-Minute Keiser® Cycling

Had a rough day at work? Ready to burn off some energy? If so, indoor cycling is your new best friend. This class is loaded with cycle training techniques that are taken straight from the road. Hit the bike for 30-35 minutes of sweat dripping fun, followed by mobility.

25-Minute Abs

What do we want? “Killer Abs!” When do we want them? “Now!” We know what you want, 25 minutes packed to the max with core-strengthening moves. Come to this class ready to work and you won’t leave disappointed.

Yoga

Create strength, stability, and endurance for the whole body by syncing breath and movement in this flow based class. We will start with the fundamentals and move into more advanced sequences. You can make this class as challenging as you'd like. Just want to stretch and learn the basics? Great! Looking to nail your headstand? That is great, too! The perfect class for a beginner or the seasoned Yogi.

Athletic Yoga

The secret's out! Yoga gives athletes results that no other form of cross training can offer. Yoga gives you an edge by improving balance, stability, strength and endurance. We encourage working at your own level while continuously challenging you mind, body and spirit. All levels of fitness are welcome, especially the non-flexible!

Noon Yoga

Is your life affecting your posture? If your answer is yes, this 45min class is for you. Common causes of muscle imbalances come from sitting and repetitive motions. In this class we will work on increasing balance, mobility, flexibility and strength, which is exactly what you need if your aim is to move better, and to prevent, or turn around, muscle imbalances. Props and modifications will be used.

Husky Walking Club

Grab a friend, lace up your shoes, and gather at the Campus Recreation service desk every Tuesday and Thursday, at 7:00am, for 30-45 minute walk. Build camaraderie among our Husky Community. Did you know that even a 10 minute brisk walk increases endorphins that boosts mood, and reduces stress!
