Has your hectic schedule thrown you off of your fitness goals? Are you looking for motivation and a routine? Push your limits with plyometric drills, strength, power, resistance and core moves. Improve overall fitness, agility, and athleticism in this upbeat class. Progression and modifications given for each exercise!
Had a rough day at work? Ready to burn off some energy? If so, indoor cycling is your new best friend. This class is loaded with cycle training techniques that are taken straight from the road. Hit the bike for 30-35 minutes of sweat dripping fun, followed by mobility.
What do we want? “Killer Abs!” When do we want them? “Now!” We know what you want, 30 minutes packed to the max with core-strengthening moves. Come to this class ready to work and you won’t leave disappointed.
This 45-minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in a motivating group environment with simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls & more! With each class you will be challenged to grow stronger and push yourself to new heights.
Improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance while reducing stress and increasing focus. This class will start with the basic fundamentals of yoga and later incorporate new and more advanced moves as we move on into the semester. This class is for all levels of strength; it will provide a great base for a beginner.
Cultivate flexibility with this 30 min practice so that you can be available and open for life’s tasks and opportunities with more ease and joy. Stretch your body & let go of stress!
Take time out for you. This Pilates class will work on toning and lengthening those core muscles. Your flexibility will be increased as the semester goes on. You are sure to see total body results.

All gym members have the opportunity to set up two FREE Vital 11 coaching sessions. The Vital 11 is a designed to introduce new gym-goers to our campus facility and environment. At the completion of the class, St. Cloud State participants can try out to join our Group Exercise team.
Become a St. Cloud State certified Group Exercise Instructor. Components of the comprehensive weekend course includes: anatomy, counting & cueing, class format, and choreography. Trainees will be led by certified exercise trainers to teach hi/lo impact cardio, step, body sculpt, cardio kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, cycle, and many other new trends in fitness. At the completion of the class, St. Cloud State participants will have an opportunity to try out to join our SCSU Group Exercise team.
Full attendance is required.
Participants will learn the basics of counting, cueing, hi/lo, and anatomy. Introduce: kickboxing, cycle, step, yoga, pilates, toning, Power 45, H.I.T.T (High Intensity Interval Training), boot-camp principles, and class format.
Review counting and cueing. Introduce yoga and pilates. Interview those trying out to become a St. Cloud State Group Exercise Instructor. Take anatomy quiz and practical assessment.
This program is designed to train and hire St. Cloud State students to become Group Exercise instructors. It is also open to employees and community members seeking to teach group exercise classes.
