Personal Trainer: Carly M.

"I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I graduated from Florida State University in 2016 with my undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology. Currently, I am attending St. Cloud State University for my Master’s Degree in College Counseling and Student Development. In my years between graduation and moving to St. Cloud, I worked as a personal trainer in central Florida before deciding to move out west to Colorado in search of a state that was above sea level! Being healthy and staying active are such an important part of who we all are and they have an impact on everything from academics to sleeping to a positive mentality to keeping both our minds and bodies in to shape! Being able to be a personal trainer allows me to pass information, knowledge, and confidence on to others in the hopes of helping them lead healthier and happier lives. The biggest roadblock that I have seen during my time as a trainer is a lack of comfort within a fitness center; and I hope that through personal training, I can help my clients become more comfortable with their surroundings so that with time they will be able to train themselves!"

Personal Trainer: Jakob R.

I am a personal trainer at the SCSU Fitness Center. My favorite part of being a personal trainer is teaching people the benefits of exercise not only for the body, but also the mind! My other job is working in the Minnesota National Guard. The major I’m working towards is in Philosophy and minor in Mass-Communications. In my free time I train in mixed martial arts, play video games, and listen to heavy metal.

Personal Trainer: Katherine M.

My name is Katherine and I am one of the Certified Personal trainers at SCSU! I got into fitness my first year of college when I went to a Zumba class and loved it. I then hired a personal trainer because I wanted to feel healthy and learn more about fitness. Since then I have gotten my NETA PT certification because I wanted to help guide people through their fitness journey and support them in  becoming their best self!
