Returning to SCSU After a Break
Welcome back to St. Cloud State University! We are glad to have you back and we are here to help you achieve your academic and personal goals. On this page, you'll find the simple steps for a smooth re-entry to the Husky Life.
Returning Student: St. Cloud State University defines a returning students as one who took a semester or more off and are returning to continue classwork. Returning Students do not include PSEO or Huskies in the High School students transitioning from high school.
International students should reach out to the Center for International Studies for information, advocacy, and support.

How to Return to SCSU
Fill Out the Returning Student Form
Fill out and submit the Returning Student Form to let us know you are interested in returning to SCSU. This helps ensure your information is up to date. Once your form has been processed, an academic advisor will reach out to help you schedule an advising appointment.
Activate Your StarID & Password
Before returning, make sure you can log in using your StarID and password which gives you access to important SCSU services, including your student account and online tools.
Visit the StarID Self Service if you don't remember your StarID or password, or need to activate your account.
Explore Your Resources
Visit our current student resources page for information on academic, campus amenities, scholarships, and basic needs resources for all SCSU students.
Apply for Financial Aid
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for financial aid. All students are encouraged to apply for federal and state financial aid, whether or not you think that you may be eligible. Financial aid includes grants, work study, scholarships and loans.
