There is a $9 registration fee per student due by Friday, March 20, 2026.

Payment may follow registration, but should arrive prior to the contest. Refunds will be made only if the contest is cancelled or maximum occupancy is reached. 

Note: There is a fifty cent discount per student for registrations received before March 20, 2026.

Please register students according to their current grade level. For example, an 8th grader that participates in math classes attended primarily by 9th grade students would still register as an 8th grader. Students currently in 6th grade must wait until they are 7th graders before attending the contest.

Note: Limit of no more than 40 students per grade level per school.

Students are allowed to use hand-held calculators during the test period, but calculators which perform symbolic manipulation are not allowed. Cell phones or devices with wireless capability may not be used and must be turned off for the entire testing period.

In between testing and the beginning of the awards ceremony advisers will be assigned to monitor a designated building for approximately one hour while students attend various activities. These duties are a vital part of your participation in the SCSU Math Contest to help to ensure the safety of the students attending the contest and minimize the disruption to other campus activities. Adequate student supervision is especially critical during the recreational activities at Halenbeck Hall and in high-traffic areas such as the Atwood Memorial Center.

  • Discounted tickets available for $13
• Atwood Memorial Center (Chick-fil-A, Einstein’s Bros. Bagels, Bibigo To-Go, Red & Black Coffee Co., The Market convenience store),
• Bring a bag lunch
