The Department of Mathematics & Statistics and the Department of Computer Science & Information Technology jointly award annual scholarships to select students enrolled in their undergraduate major and minor programs.
Since 1974 more than 1,300 scholarships have been awarded.
The scholarship application window is mid-August to early September.
Each fall the two departments host a Scholarship Awards Ceremony and Dinner where faculty, staff, family and friends honor the scholarship recipients. The 2023 Scholarship Awards Ceremony and Dinner was held on October 25 to honor 29 students.
The scholarship program is supported by alumni, faculty, staff, friends, businesses and industries.
