Full- and Part-Time Graduate Assistant Timesheet Entry

Follow these dates and guidelines to ensure you are paid accurately and in a timely manner during your graduate assistantship. Entering your hours as listed into eServices will ensure you are paid consistently across the semester and accounts for breaks.

Hours worked:

• Full-time GAs are expected to work 20 hours per week except for denoted holidays/breaks.
• Part-time GAs are expected to work 10 hours per week except for denoted holidays/breaks.

If you are using Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST), this replaces your work hours 1 for 1, and work time does not need to be made up. If you are ill or need to be away for more time, you can enter your hours precisely as listed below and identify with your supervisor how you will make up missed time not covered by ESST. 

Note: All amounts listed below is the gross amount before taxes.

Fall Semester 2026: Full-time

Graduate Assistants (GA) with a start date between August 18-27, 2026 will enter their total hours beginning August 19 precisely as listed below for each week.

**Enter number in parentheses only if you are graduating in Fall 2026 or not returning to the University for Spring 2027

Total Compensation: Full-time GAs will work a total of 330 hours during the fall semester and earn $5,280 before taxes.

Fall Semester 2026: Part-time

Graduate Assistants (GA) with a start date between August 18-27, 2026 will enter their total hours beginning August 19 precisely as listed below for each week.

**If graduating in Fall 2026 or not returning to the University in Spring 2027, enter these hours in the Pay Period ending 12/15/2026.

Total Compensation: Part-time GAs will work a total of 165 hours during the fall semester and earn $2,640 before taxes.
