Autism Spectrum Disorders Graduate Certificate
With this graduate certificate, you will gain an introduction to techniques for assessing and teaching students who are moderate to severe on the autism spectrum. You will study the current research, learn how to assess behavior and how to plan for challenging behaviors.
Areas of study include instruction on how to adapt and modify math lessons for students with special needs and basic techniques for reading and language arts to teach students with special needs in the classes.
This program is accredited by the Council for Exceptional Children.
Note: A teaching license is required to gain admission into this graduate certificate program.

- Students admitted for fall, spring and summer terms.
- Can be taken as a student guest by students who only need one or two classes to meet the licensure requirements.

- The Learning Disability Summer Reading and Math Camp helps improve skills for more than 200 students in K-8.
