Raghu Jainapur is currently Vice President, Global Regulatory for the Healthcare division at Ecolab. He is responsible for establishing global strategies for regulatory affairs and compliance for medical devices, drugs/medicinal products and biocides. Raghu manages a global team of regulatory professionals.
Prior to Ecolab, Raghu worked at Abbott as the Head of Quality for the Point of Care Diagnostics division. He also worked at Roche Diagnostics in the Diabetes and Molecular Diagnostics division in senior manager and director level roles.
Raghu has 25 years of experience in medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), and automotive mainly focused on quality engineering, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. He has extensive experience in continuous improvement leveraging statistical techniques, quality system remediation and integration of acquisitions. He has interacted with various competent authorities such as US FDA, ANVISA (Brazil), ANSM (France), and MHRA (UK).
Raghu’s academic credentials include a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo, Ohio and MBA from Purdue University, Indiana. He completed a Leadership Development program at the London Business School. He is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt.
