Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certification Exam

The Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification program has served as a crucial asset providing and validating foundational skills for anyone venturing in to the broad world of IT.  Microsoft has recently decided to evolve their certifications to focus on job roles using Microsoft technology.  As a result of these changes, Microsoft has elected to retire the MTA program.

  • Beginning July 1, 2021, we will no longer sell Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) certification exams.
  • The Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) exams will officially retire on June 30, 2022.
  • Effective July 1, 2022, Ceritport will suspend all MTA exam delivery.

The MTA exam will be replaced by the Information Technology Specialist exam.
