Mitchell Hall

Mitchell Hall, which houses about 451 women and men, is renowned for its backyard on the Mississippi River. Generations of students have used "Mitchell Beach" for recreation and relaxation.

Each floor has three kitchens with stoves, microwaves, ironing boards and sinks. Please note that in the basement, many rooms have moveable furniture and some rooms are larger than others. 

The main lounge has air conditioning has a large screen TV, a pool table and ping-pong table. An adjoining room has a piano.

Residential Life provides the following room furnishings for each resident: bed, extra long twin mattress (80 inches in length), desk, desk chair, ample closet space with built in storage drawers, wastebasket, curtains for the windows, room mirror, bulletin board above the desk, cable TV, Wifi and Ethernet connection.

Items such as rugs, refrigerators and microwaves can be rented or bought to personalize your room. In Mitchell Hall, the beds will both be on the floor and several students rent a metal black loft unit to maximize floor space in their rooms providing more space.
