About the SCSU Nursing Club
The SCSU Nursing Club is a student‑led organization that supports nursing education, professional development, and student well‑being. Guided by the motto “From Compassion to Action,” the club provides opportunities for connection, leadership, and service within the nursing program, the university, and the broader community.
Mission and Purpose
The mission of the SCSU Nursing Club is to promote nursing education and foster the development of compassionate, engaged, and well‑prepared future nurses. The club supports students’ professional growth, encourages advocacy and service, and promotes involvement in health- and health-care-related activities.
What We Do
The Nursing Club provides opportunities for students to:
- Engage in professional development and leadership experiences
- Participate in community service and health‑related initiatives
- Host fundraising events to support student initiatives and organizations
- Support nursing education and student advocacy
- Collaborate with students across disciplines and campus organizations
- Build connection and community among nursing students
Membership
Membership is open to all pre‑nursing and nursing students at St. Cloud State University. Students at all levels of the nursing program are welcome to participate.
The Nursing Club encourages inclusive participation and values the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of its members.
Meetings
Nursing Club meetings are held regularly during the academic year. Meeting dates, times, and locations are shared with members through Nursing Club communications (Huskies Connect and the SCSU Nursing Club Bulletin Board in the Nursing Science Department).
