Graduate Admissions
English Proficiency Exemptions
Exempt Countries from English Language Requirement
If you completed your most recent degree at a college or university in a country where English is the only official language, you do not need to submit an English Proficiency test score when you apply.
However, you may be asked to take an English placement test during or prior to orientation. If the test shows you need additional development of English skills to meet the rigors of graduate school, you may be required to take ESL (English as a Second Language) classes and/or EAP (English for Academic Purposes) 511 & 512.
