Women's Center

Welcome to the Women's Center

The Women’s Center offers a comprehensive array of services and programming to address a diverse student body and the unique needs of women and gender issues on campus. Advocating for women, educating the campus community and advancing gender equity and safety are core to our work.

Learn how you can help support gender equity and the Women's Center.

We encourage you to visit the Center and attend programming created to educate, advocate and inspire. We are north of the University Library in the Miller Center. Our hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

                                                     Important Information and Update:

The Women’s Center will continue to provide services, moving to alternative platforms beginning March 23, 2020 due to COVID-19.  Please call, email and check our website and FB for timely updates and information about the issues we address.

The Gender Violence Prevention Program will utilize a secure site and provide a “teleroom” to meet in. If you need to talk to someone or need other gender violence prevention services, email Lee LaDue at leladue@stcloudstate.edu and you will be sent a link you can simply click on and we will be connected on a confidential secure site.  At that time, we will assess if other services are needed.  We can assist in restraining and protective orders through this site and the Minnesota courts will continue to process the orders.

The Central MN Sexual Assault Center continues to staff their 24-hour crisis hotline and they also are able to meet with people on a secure site on-line. Their numbers are 320-251-4357  1-800-237-5090.

Domestic violence increases at times like these. If you are experiencing domestic violence and need a 24-hour crisis line or safe shelter, please contact Anna Marie’s Alliance, at 320.253.6900 or 800.950.2203.

Counseling and Psychological Services and the Medical Clinic and Pharmacy can be utilized for support, as well medical services.
