Women's Center

Welcome to the Women's Center

The Women’s Center offers a comprehensive array of services and programming to address a diverse student body and the unique needs of women and gender issues on campus. Advocating for women, educating the campus community and advancing gender equity and safety are core to our work.

Learn how you can help support gender equity and the Women's Center.

We encourage you to visit the Center and attend programming created to educate, advocate and inspire. Our hours are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

                                                     Important Information and Update:

The Women's Center has moved and our former home taken down! We are now located in Atwood Memorial Center 218 with a student lounge in the Lotus Room. Our phone number is the same at 320-308-4958. Or send us an email at womenscenter@stcloudstate.edu.

We are open with safety precautions and protocols in place! Wear a mask, physically distance, and sanitize your hands if you visit. On-site services, as well as virtual services, are available upon request. Call first if you can. Free menstrual and safe sex supplies are available, as are pregnancy tests. Students can also stop in for a free Women's Center Face Mask! Bring your student ID please.

The Women on Wednesday series is up and running! Please check out our timely and dynamic series featuring excellent speakers. Our goal is that you find inspiration, purpose and hope from our esteemed and diverse speakers presenting on what is possible in an intersectional feminist future.

The Women's Center has trained advocates available to meet (in person or virtually) to address your experiences or concerns related to gender-based violence, or other gender or women's issues. We can assist by providing support, advocacy, information, referrals, and help to petition for restraining and protective orders. If you need help after-hours, please refer to the crisis lines below.

The Central MN Sexual Assault Center continues to staff their 24-hour crisis hotline and they also are able to meet with people in person or on a secure site on-line. Their numbers are 320-251-4357 or 1-800-237-5090.

Interpersonal violence increases at times like these. Please know you are not alone. If you are experiencing domestic or dating violence and need a 24-hour crisis line or safe shelter, please contact Anna Marie’s Alliance, at 320-253-6900 or 800-950-2203.
