St. Cloud State students benefit from Navigate, as it allows us to be more personalized in our individual student support, enables better communication across key departments, and allows instructors a method to share concerns about student performance in their classes. Those notifications are shared with academic advisors and success advisors, who then connect with their assigned students to provide connections to campus and community resources, including tutoring, counseling, financial aid, time management strategies, and more.
In addition, students can log into Navigate to utilize great features including:
How to log into Navigate:
Currently enrolled and incoming students can log in using your Star ID and password at: stcloudstate.campus.eab.com
If you're returning to SCSU after a break in enrollment, or if your log in credentials aren't working, please send an email to ssc_help@stcloudstate.edu with your name and ID number so a member of our tech support team can assist.
How to schedule an appointment through Navigate:
Many of our advising centers currently use Navigate to allow students to schedule advising appointments online. After logging into Navigate, click the blue "Schedule an Appointment" button in the upper right hand corner. Select the type of appointment you're looking for and follow all of the steps. You can include any specific questions or concerns you have in the comments box, and be sure to click the blue "Confirm Appointment" button to reserve your appointment. You will receive a confirmation email as well as email and text reminders prior to your appointment.
To ensure your text reminder goes through, we encourage students to update their phone numbers at least annually. Log into e-Services and click on the "Account Management" link on the left side navigation. Then click "Name and Address Info" and edit your number, as needed.
Share your Pronouns:
Students can share and update their pronouns in Navigate by clicking on the upper right hand corner icon, then selecting "User Settings." Advisors and professors will then have access to see the information you've shared, which may help to personalize your interactions. It is optional to share this information, and you can make edits at any time.
An investment in student success:
Our students were critical in our ability to bring Navigate to our campus. Through the support of Student Government, St. Cloud State was able to make this key investment as part of our strategy to promote student success and improve retention and graduation rates for our students. An annual report is provided to the Student Government Tech Fee Committee.
