Transferring from Central Lakes College (CLC)

Transfer Process

All transfer students following the AAS in Law Enforcement to Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Transfer Agreement must follow the admission process to be admitted to St. Cloud State University. Students must complete the entire sending program and meet graduation requirements at both institutions.

Courses listed below are listed on individual Transfer Agreements, additional courses will transfer according to currently determined transfer equivalencies. 

This agreement is effective from 5/1/2020 through 5/1/2025.

Notes: ENGL 1410 = ENGL 100; transfer students coming in with ENGL 100 completed will be required to take ENGL 291 (2 credits) to complete the Goal 1: Written Communication requirement for the MnTC at SCSU. Students can take ENGL 1411 Composition II at CLC and then would not have to take ENGL 291 at SCSU. ENGL 1410 Composition I + ENGL 1411 Composition II taken at CLC = ENGL 191 Rhetorical and Analytical Writing at SCSU which fulfills the MnTC Goal 1: Written Communication requirement.

Note: The CRJU major sequence from CLC will be substituted as a block and will transfer to SCSU as CJS credit bundle as outlined. Twelve of the credits transferred in will go to fulfill the 12 credits of CJS electives required in the major at SCSU. CJS 399 and 499 credits are earned afer successful completion of the SKILLS training program.
