Transfer Process

All transfer students following the AAS in Law Enforcement to Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Transfer Agreement must follow the admission process to be admitted to St. Cloud State University. Students must complete the entire sending program and meet graduation requirements at both institutions.

Courses listed below are listed on individual Transfer Agreements, additional courses will transfer according to currently determined transfer equivalencies. 

This agreement is effective from 5/1/2020 through 5/1/2025.

Note: LENF major sequence from ATCC will be substituted as a block and will transfer to SCSU as a CJS bundle. Be Advised

To be admitted to the BA in Criminal Justice major all students will have to complete the remaining requirements at SCSU:

  • To be eligible to graduate with a BA in CJS or a BA in CJS with an emphasis, students must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher in CJS courses.
  • All SCSU students must complete a minimum of 120 credits to graduate.
  • All SCSU students must have at least 40 credits of 300/400 level courses to graduate.
  • All SCSU students must complete a minimum of 40 credits of Liberal Education courses AND meet the requirements of all 10 goal areas, including RIGR and Diversity.

Work with your advisor as well as SCSU Transfer Admissions to ensure requirements for each institution's program are being met. Refer to www.transferology.com for up-to-date information on course equivalencies.

The college and university shall work with students to resolve the transfer of courses should changes to either program occur while the agreement is in effect.
