Pre-Nursing Living Learning Community

The Pre-Nursing Living Learning Community has been suspended indefinitely.

The Pre-Nursing Living Learning Community combines social and academic components to help students transition to college life, both inside and outside the classroom. What does this mean? On average, students who participate in the living learning community have a higher first semester GPA and report higher overall satisfaction with their college experience than other first year students.

Highlights of the Pre-Nursing Living Learning Community:

  • Live in a renovated space in Shoemaker Hall
  • Meet Department of Nursing faculty and current students to learn more about being a student in the nursing program
  • Tour the St. Cloud Hospital and interact with current healthcare practitioners
  • Volunteer with the Nursing Club at the campus American Red Cross Blood Drive
  • Engage in advising sessions with the pre-nursing adviser
  • Join the SCSU Nursing Club and develop connections with St. Cloud State nursing students
Space in the community is limited.  If you have questions, please contact Residential Life at 320-308-2166 or Rochelle Ament in the Department of Nursing at 320-308-1749.
