Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Larry Lee to the position of Vice President for Finance & Administration. This role has a significant impact on establishing our financial management principles and aligning them with the It’s Time framework. I am confident that Larry’s expertise will guide us as we determine the best financial tools and strategies to advance the institution.
Larry brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in higher education. He is currently the Vice President for Finance and Administration at Coe College where he has served since 2016. Previously, he worked at three other institutions including Carnegie Mellon University, Allegheny College and the University of Denver. Larry graduated from Bartlett High School in Anchorage Alaska and earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at Colorado State University – Pueblo. Lee earned his master’s degree in management with a dual emphasis in both business and higher education administration at the University of Denver.
Larry is married to Cathy Lee who is originally from Bordeaux France. She is an accomplished judoka who earned a spot on the United States National Team and was a Pan American Silver Medalist in 1991 and an Olympic Team Alternate in 1992. The Lee’s have two children Gabrielle, a recent graduate from Coe College with a degree in Social and Criminal Justice, and Spencer is in graduate school at the University of Iowa. Larry enjoys running and being outdoors and spending time with their Australian Shepard Luna.
