IEC Scholarships

Scholarship Opportunities

Students who are referred to the Intensive English Center and enroll full-time may be eligible for a $500 scholarship in their first IEC semester. Below you will also find a continuing student award for returning IEC students. Learn which option fits you and how to apply.

Available Scholarships

Refer-A-Friend – Current IEC Students

Current IEC students may refer a friend to the Intensive English Center. When your friend enrolls full-time and all rules are met, you receive $500 and your friend receives $500 in their first semester.

Refer-A-Friend – SCSU Students and Alumni

St. Cloud State University students and alumni may refer a new student to the Intensive English Center. When the new student enrolls full-time and meets all the rules, the new IEC student receives $500 in their first IEC semester. The referrer does not receive scholarship funds.

IEC Continuing Student Scholarship

Students who continue in the IEC after their first semester receive a $200 tuition discount. See the IEC Tuition page for details.

Program Application Deadlines

Applicants outside of the United States need by apply by the following dates:

Fall semester start - apply by July 1
Spring semester start - apply by November 1
Summer semester start - apply by March 1

Student applicants already inside the United States have later dates.
