Economics Department Scholarship

This scholarship awards undergraduate students majoring in Economics.

  • Economics, Business Economics, or Mathematical Economics major.
  • Minimum 3.0 grade point average.

Rose Marie Gamber Scholarship in Economics

This scholarship awards undergraduate students majoring in Economics.

  • Economics, Business Economics, or Mathematical Economics major.
  • Minimum 3.0 grade point average.
  • Priority given to students in their senior year.

Michael D. White Economics Fellowship

This fund was established in honor of economics professor Michael D. White, who retired from St. Cloud State University in 2006.

  • Must be a graduate student accepted in the Applied Economics graduate program.

Crumpton Farrell Finance and Economics Scholarship

Dr. Crumpton Farrell taught in the Department of Management and Finance at St. Cloud State University from 1978 until his retirement in 1992. He received his BS in 1944 from the US Naval Academy and his BSEE in 1948 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Farrell also attended the University of Pennsylvania where he received his MBA in 1968, his MA in 1970, and his PhD in 1975.

  • Double major in Economics and Finance.
  • Minimum 3.0 grade point average.
  • Active beyond the classroom.

Robert and Ronald Besonen Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship awards undergraduate students double majoring in Economics and Finance.

  • Double major in Economics and Finance.
  • Minimum 3.0 grade point average.
  • Participation in a St. Cloud State student organization.
  • Working to meet the costs of education.
