Carol has over 30 years of experience working across early learning settings. These include Early Childhood Family Education, Early Childhood Special Education and Child Care at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Even though Carol is a Minnesota Licensed Teacher in Pre-K and Early Childhood Special Education, she also worked for a large health system. Her work there included building parent support for pediatric patients as well as improving screening and social determinants of health practices.
Carol is passionate about supporting the caregiving adults with resources to meet their own needs. When adults have their needs met, they can turn around and better meet the needs of the children they are caring for. This infant and early childhood mental health principal informs the work here at Lindgren Early Learning Center. Carol is also a wife and mother which continues to inform her practice at Lindgren.
