Opened in 1980, Lindgren Early Learning Center was established to meet the needs of student parents looking for quality, on-campus child care services. Today, we go beyond that goal, supporting student parents and their entire families by providing pathways to food, housing, and wellness resources. At Lindgren we connect and care, because care only happens through connection.
At Lindgren, we believe children should receive high-quality care in a safe environment that also provides educational experiences. Children at Lindgren are challenged by age-appropriate activities based on knowledge of child development, implemented by professional staff. We are committed to helping children establish trust in their environment, strengthen their self-identity, and ignite their curiosity through productive, satisfying activities.
Our center is administered by the College of Education and Learning Design and is an equal opportunity provider.
From our compassionate staff to our rigorously designed curriculums, Lindgren is committed to helping your child develop their curiosity and a love for learning. We are a Four-Star Rated Parent Aware child care center through January 16, 2025, providing programs that make excellent use of kindergarten-readiness best practices.
Through September 1, 2024, Lindgren Early Learning Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), which works to promote high-quality education for early learners.
