Artist Statement
I am always thinking about what could be. I believe that the art we make is an extension of who we were, who we are and who we want to become. As a multi-disciplinary artist, I work with film, photography and sound to capture stories that might not be told. I tell the stories of my people, assimilation, and the lack of representation of minorities in popular culture. The truth is tricky, and my goal is not to create an absolute truth but rather provoke conversations that questions how we think. —- KOBI
