Art at SCSU

Overlooking the beautiful Mississippi River in the Kiehle Visual Arts Center (KVAC) are SCSU's Art programs. KVAC is home to ten different art making labs including our Maker Space, three computer labs, two art galleries, faculty offices, student studios, and more.

SCSU's Art programs prepare students for long-term success in the visual arts. Students are able to take a dynamic range of classes in graphic design, art education, studio art and art history within a close-knit community of students and faculty.

This is a place for critical thinkers, tastemakers, rule breakers, and problem solvers.

Students enjoy a contemporary and comprehensive program of courses, lectures, workshops, and field experiences that prepare them for a rewarding career that aligns with their passion.
