How the AIC Supports Students
The SCSU American Indian Center encourages students to reach out for support. We’re here to ensure you have the resources, options, and opportunities to succeed. If you’re unsure who to talk to, start with us—we’ll listen and connect you with the right people.
- Build relationships. Not sure how to meet new people? Start with us. We want to know your story. We can connect you with other students and student organizations who are also looking for connection.
- Bring your friends! Start with us. Invite friends along—they might discover something new or spark an interest they didn’t expect. College is all about exploring possibilities!
- Be honest with yourself. Start with us. When things get hard or classes feel overwhelming, tell someone. Having someone to problem solve with and having someone who’s got your back will reduce stress and make your college experience less stressful.
