The Clinical Mental Health Counseling program mission is to inspire future mental health counselors who are passionate about pursuing the highest standard of clinical practice with cultural fluency.

Our mission is dedicated to achieve the following outcomes:

• Proficiency in best clinical practices
• Effective delivery of counseling in diverse clinical settings to a broad range of clientele (individual, group, family, couples) across the lifespan
• Active engagement in self-reflective practice and commitment to life-long learning
• Fluency in multicultural competencies
• Social justice advocacy in a global context
