Hello Husky Friends and Families!

We are excited to welcome friends, families, and other guests to campus this year for Family and Friends Day. Family and Friends Day is a great opportunity for you to experience campus with your student. There is a full day of fun activities planned in addition to other activities happening across campus.

What is Family and Friends Day?
Family and Friends Day is held on campus each fall and features events and programs focused on providing students and their families the opportunity to explore campus, enjoy quality time together and connect with other families, staff and faculty.

Everyone is welcome!
Family and Friends Day is not only for families of first-year students and it’s definitely not just for parents. All St. Cloud State families, extended families, siblings and supporters are welcome to join us!

2023 Information and Pricing

Date: Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Check-In for Family Day will start at 10:00AM at the Atwood Campus Involvement Desk

Location: Atwood Memorial Center

*Please note that pre-registration is preferred but registration and add-ons are available onsite the day of the event.

Family & Friends Day Registration (required): $15.00 per person 

The $15.00 Registration Fee includes a planetarium show, spin art, indoor jungle, petting zoo, the Underground, and the Magic Show with Daniel Martin.

Planetarium Tours: sign-up for a tour on-site, 50 people/show

• 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
• 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Available from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.:

• Spin Art: Create your own spin art on a white t-shirt!
• Indoor Jungle: Choose from two sizes of organic clay pots which you then decorate with ecologically friendly designs, then plant their choice of native grasses, flowers and other indoor thriving plants!
• Petting Zoo
• The Underground (bowling and billiards), (without registration cost is $10)
• Stuff-a-Husky: available for purchase, you can stuff your own husky!

Special Notes

• St. Cloud State students are free for events and do not need to register via the registration site (additional items need to be purchased).
• Children 3 and under are free and do not need to register.
• Youth sizes for t-shirts are available for purchase onsite.
