Welcome to Student Accessibility Services (SAS)

Dear students, faculty and staff,

In light of the University’s directives to promote social distancing as a way to mitigate the potential spread of COVID-19, SAS will be conducting all work remotely until further notice.

SAS staff are working and are committed to responding quickly to your inquiries. We will be checking voicemails and emails regularly and inquiries will be responded to in a timely manner. Information for Students

If you have had a meeting already scheduled with SAS, staff will contact you to confirm your meeting and determine whether you would like connect via phone or Zoom. SAS will not be proctoring exams in person until further notice. If you had exams scheduled in SAS for when you return from extended Spring Break, please communicate with your faculty as the testing format may have changed. It is your responsibility to be aware of how your class meetings, assignments and exams may change to accommodate remote delivery. Your faculty will be communicating changes with you, make sure you are checking email, D2L and other course communication platforms. Make sure to give your faculty a gentle reminder of your approved extended testing time accommodations. As tests have switched over to alternative formats, they will need to adjust the time requirements for you.
