Move In Day

At your scheduled move-in time, go directly to your assigned building to check-in. 

• Case/Hill Hall: 550 3^rd Ave S.
• Lawrence Hall: 650 1^st Ave S.
• Mitchell Hall: 566 1^st Ave S.
• Shoemaker Hall: 915 1^st Ave S.
• Stateview North: 410 4^th Ave. S. (check in at the Case/Hill front desk, see address above)
• Stateview South: 422 4^th Ave. S. (check in at the Case/Hill front desk, see address above)

At your new Husky home, park your vehicle along the street, go inside to pick up your keys (bring your SCSU ID and a photo ID), and get ready to meet your Husky Haulers!

Husky Haulers are fellow Huskies—students, faculty, staff, administrators—who will help bring items to your room. Carts are available to make moving all of your belongings easy.

Unloading Etiquette:

• Student arriving with multiple vehicles should travel together, unload items from all vehicles quickly and move the vehicles to a Res Lot.
• Unloading zones are reserved for your initial drop off of items. If you have additional items to unload, you’ll need to do so from a Res Lot.

• Oversized vehicles such as moving trucks, boats, or trailers are not permitted in our unloading zones.
• Leave your furry friends at home...pets are not permitted in housing facilities.
• Rented bed lofting is permitted at Mitchell Hall only and as indicated on your housing application. Lofts will be the responsibility of students to pick up and assemble. Outside lofts are not permitted within the halls.
