About Mass Communications and Film Studies
Mass Communications students gain practical knowledge, skills, and hands-on training to become socially responsible and professionally successful multimedia creatives in today’s diverse, global society. Our award-winning undergraduate program provides a strong foundation for careers in creative media productions, journalism, and strategic communications.
Students studying Film Studies are immersed in a rigorous study of the art of cinema that emphasizes critical and creative thinking. You’ll watch, analyze, discuss and write about films from the world over and you will graduate with a deep knowledge of the moving image and its cultural, historical and socio-political traditions.
