Interlibrary Loan

What is Interlibrary Loan?

When items are not available in the University Library collections, St. Cloud State University faculty, staff, and students may use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request items from other institutions.

  • Requests take between 2-10+ days to be processed.
  • Due date is determined by the lending library.
  • Most articles are delivered to you via email.
  • Photocopies of articles may be kept.
  • You are responsible for the care and prompt return of borrowed materials. You will be billed for lost, damaged, or overdue materials.
