What Is a School of Record?
St. Cloud State University is proud to serve as a School of Record. For students studying abroad, a School of Record makes it possible to receive a US transcript for the courses they complete overseas. St. Cloud State University verifies the academic integrity of courses offered by partner institutions based on the Higher Learning Commission criteria and guidelines.
Courses and partner credentials undergo a thorough review by academic departments and academic affairs to ensure they meet St. Cloud State University curriculum requirements. Agreements to award credit follow best practice standards established by the Forum on Education Abroad Guidelines for School of Record relationships.
St. Cloud State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

St. Cloud State University is proud to serve as the School of Record for Maximo Nivel study abroad programs. Maximo Nivel is a leading organization in study abroad and educational travel in Latin America. It is an internationally accredited organization with 4 local institutes in 3 countries: Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru.
Students can earn St. Cloud State University credit through Spanish-language courses. St. Cloud State University faculty evaluate each Maximo Nivel course to determine St. Cloud State University equivalencies. Each course must be approved by the appropriate academic department and college dean.
Maximo Nivel provides St. Cloud State University with transcripts and required documentation for each student. St. Cloud State University evaluates the credit and creates the official student record.
Once the student record is finalized, students can order transcripts.
Globalizedu
St. Cloud State University is proud to serve as a School of Record for Globalizedu study-abroad programs. Since 2013, Globalizedu has been a leading US organization in study-abroad educational programming.
Students locally and nationally can earn St. Cloud State University credit through Globalizedu courses in business, fine arts, humanities and the health sciences. St. Cloud State University faculty evaluate each Globalizedu course to determine St. Cloud State University equivalencies. Each course must be approved by the appropriate academic department and college dean.
