Purpose and Membership of the University International Advisory Council

The University International Advisory Council (UIAC) is a university-wide committee charged with providing advice and recommendations regarding St. Cloud State University's international strategy, initiatives, and activities. The UIAC reports to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. The purpose of the University International Advisory Council is to provide advice on:

  • Coordination of international activities of the university in alignment with St. Cloud State University's international strategic plan
  • Developing synergistic relationships within and between St. Cloud State University's Colleges and Schools
  • Developing systems, procedures, and processes for inclusive review of new and ongoing international initiatives and programs
  • Supporting the development and sharing of data and information related to St. Cloud State University's international activities and expertise
  • Providing funding recommendations to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs for proposals for international initiatives
  • Faculty and staff professional development activities related to internationalization
