HBS Advising and Student Success Center Staff

Leah Klimek
- Acting Director
Leah Klimek works as the Acting Director in the HBS Advising and Student Success Center. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the College of Saint Benedict and went on to complete her Master of Science in College Counseling and Student Development here at St. Cloud State University in 2007. She has been in the Minnstate system for almost 16 years in various roles such as TRIO, Records, and Advising. Leah’s favorite part about working with students is in those little “lightbulb” moments when they realize how and why they are doing what they are doing and those moments when students come back and see how everything worked out full-circle. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family/friends and volunteering at her church. She also enjoys playing a good game of sand volleyball, going for walks, or partaking in fitness classes.
