Director

Gretchen Huwe

Gretchen Huwe

Gretchen serves as Director and Lead Academic Advisor in the Business Advising Center.  She specializes in Education Abroad, International Partnerships, Business Honors Program and Transfer Pathways.  Gretchen earned a Master’s of Science in Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science from St. Cloud State University.  Gretchen has worked at SCSU since 1999 as Assistant Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of University Honors Program, MBA Director and now in Business Advising.  She has a passion for travel and loves helping students fulfill their dream of studying abroad.  In her free time, Gretchen enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time exploring the world with her family.

Niki Ebensteiner

Niki Ebensteiner

Niki graduated from SCSU in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Travel and Tourism. She has been on campus for 18 years and has worked in Financial Aid, the School of Education, MBA office, and has been with the Business Advising Center since May 2014. She loves serving students, faculty and staff. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and animals!

Annie Babcock

Annie Babcock

Annie serves as an academic advisor in the Business Advising Center. She earned her Master degree in Higher Education Administration at St. Cloud State University and her Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Annie has worked in the Business Advising Center since 2016 and her favorite part of advising is meeting new students each year and learning about their goals and interests.  In her free time, Annie enjoys running, gardening, and spending time with her dog, Ernie.

Sara Panek

Sara Panek

Sara serves as an Academic Advisor in the Business Advising Center. Sara has worked in various areas of higher education including advising, student services, retention, and records and registration. Sara received her Master of Arts in Gerontology from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. Sara's favorite part about working with students is learning about what makes them interested in their major, and watching students grow into their professional careers. She enjoys gardening, houseplants, taking her senior dog on walks, and laughing with friends and family.

Dylan Koenig

Dylan Koenig

Dylan is a Graduate Assistant in the Business Advising Center. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education at St. Cloud State University. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in College Counseling and Student Development. Dylan is looking forward to the opportunity of advising students. Outside of the office and school, he enjoys watching sports, hiking and spending time with his niece and nephews.

Jordan Maus

Jordan Maus

Jordan is a Graduate Assistant in the Business Advising Center. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration at St. Cloud State University. Jordan also has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from St. Cloud State University. She hopes to work in Advising upon completion of her Master’s degree. Jordan decided on a career in higher education because she enjoys learning and working in an academic environment. In her free time, Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and dog. She also loves traveling, going to movies and boating in the summer.

Mariia Tikhonova

Mariia Tikhonova

Mariia is a Graduate Assistant in the Business Advising Center. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in College Counseling and Student Development. Mariia earned her Bachelor's degree in Foreign Language Teaching (English and German). She wants to encourage and assist students in realizing their full potential by advising them. Student diversity is significant for her, and she has worked with students from Russian, European, and Asian countries. She enjoys traveling and meeting new people.

Gulbakhor Ismoilova

Gulbakhor Ismoilova

Guli is currently a senior at St. Cloud State University, majoring in General Business. She is a transfer international student from Solbridge International School of Business in South Korea. She worked as a student advisor and orientation leader summer 2020 and enjoyed helping incoming students get connected to SCSU and answering all their questions. Guli loves learning new languages and traveling. She currently knows 5 languages (Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Russian, Korean and English) and is hoping to learn a 6th one (Spanish or French). She also loves cooking, and her dream is to open her own restaurant.
