African Americans in Medical Technology Scholarship

The African Americans in Medical Technology Scholarship was created to encourage and ensure opportunities for African Americans in the medical technology field. 

This scholarship will be awarded to qualified graduate students admitted or in the first year of the master’s degree program in Regulatory Affairs and Services or Medical Technology Quality. Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 2.75 in their last 60 college credits to qualify. The learner cannot be eligible for an employee tuition reimbursement plan. Must be enrolled for at least eight graduate credits when the scholarship is received. Preference will be given to students of African American or African descent. Applications open September 15th, and the deadline for applications is October 15th.  The scholarship will be awarded for spring and fall semester.

Association of Medical Diagnostic Manufacturers Scholarship

The Association of Medical Diagnostics Manufacturers (AMDM) is awarding scholarships to students in the St. Cloud State Regulatory Affairs and Services master’s program.

  • A total of $5,000 in scholarships will be awarded - to the NEW enrollee(s) who completed less than 12 credits in the degree program.
  • A total of $5,000 in scholarships will be awarded - to the student(s) who already completed at least 12 credits in the degree program.

The scholarships will be awarded for the 2023-24 school year and will be allocated in the form of tuition for courses in the fall 23, spring 24, and summer 24 semesters.

The application may be submitted from July 1 through Aug. 1.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the AMDM scholarship, you must complete the application form, including a one-page paper on your goals in enrolling in the RAS program, your understanding of topics related to the AMDM organization’s focus, and how the scholarship will help you attain your goals. You must also be accepted into the program and meet the following criteria:

New enrollee

  • Submit your application to the RAS program no later than program application deadline 
  • Must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.00
  • Must enroll at least six credits in fall, six credits in spring, and three credits in summer

Current student

  • Must have completed a minimum of 12 credits in the program
  • Must have a GPA in the RAS courses of at least 3.25
  • Must enroll for at least six credits in fall, six credits in spring

Preference is given to applicants with financial need and prior scholarly achievement.
