Welcome to the Department of Nursing Science!
As a fully accredited member of the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), the Department of Nursing Science offers two programs within the nursing discipline:
The four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, also termed "generic" or "traditional" program, is a 71-credit major program preparing caring professional clincians for practice in contemporary healthcare settings.
The Accelerated Baccalaureate Program is an intensely rigorous 16-month course of study designed for those who already hold a four-year baccalaureate degree in a field other than nursing.
