A check list for your trip to St. Cloud State University

  1. Make travel arrangements and airline reservations early.

  2. Check your travel options from:
    1. Arriving into Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport to St. Cloud State University. Two shuttle services are available for transportation from the airport.

      Executive Express Shuttle
      Executive Express Shuttle is a privately-owned van shuttle service. We recommend you make your shuttle reservation in advance to secure a spot on the shuttle.

      At the airport, the Executive Express desk is located in the Ground Transportation area. Simply follow signs to Ground Transportation. Once in the Ground Transportation area, rental car counters will be on your right and van service counters on your left. The Executive Express counter is at the end of the van counters.

      Refer to the Executive Express website for rate and schedule information. Currently, the cost is approximately $41.00 and the trip to St. Cloud takes approximately 90 minutes. Call Executive Express for more information: 1-(320) 253-2226 or toll free at (888) 522-9899.

      Lakes Express Shuttle Service
      Lakes Express provides Minneapolis Airport shuttle service daily. Their schedule includes service to and from the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport at both Terminal 1 (Lindbergh) and Terminal 2 (Humphrey). Call Lakes Express at 1-(866) 955-6973.

    2. Arrival into St. Cloud Regional Airport via United Airlines & Chicago O'Hare International Airport

      1. Fly direct to the St. Cloud Regional Airport with a connection in Chicago. United Airlines offers flights twice daily between Chicago O'Hare International airport and the St. Cloud Regional Airport. http://letsgostc.com/

      2. The St. Cloud Regional Airport is located roughly 5 miles form St. Cloud State University. At this time, however there is not a shuttle service between the airport and SCSU. Please contact world2scsu@stcloudstate.edu if you plan to fly United direct to St. Cloud.

  3. Confirm your airline reservations 72 hours before departure.
  4. Practice packing your luggage. Check your airline's luggage restrictions.

  5. Purchase a collapsible luggage cart.

  6. Place personal items (1-20 or Ds-2109, Passport with Visa, Airline tickets, a change of clothing, a book or magazine, snacks, toothbrush/toothpaste, snacks, any medications) in a carry-on bag. Please make sure your immigration documents are with you in a carry on bag and NOT in a checked bag.

  7. Label all your luggage
