Please plan to bring the following materials with you to assist in the transfer evaluation process:
- Detailed course descriptions and syllabi, including the title, edition, and name of the author of your primary textbooks.
- Examples of your coursework, tests, exams and projects.
After arrival at SCSU, you will meet with a professor in your intended major area of study who will determine if any of your courses accepted in transfer will count directly towards your major area of study. He/she will report the equivalency recommendation to the Office of Records & Registration so the information can be included on your degree audit report.
Credits in transfer that are not part of the liberal education program or part of the major program of study will display as elective credits on the degree audit. These credits will count towards the overall number of credits needed to earn a Bachelor’s degree.
