University Program Board (UPB)

UPB is St. Cloud State's student-led programming organization. It is made up of student leaders that plan events for the entire student body. UPB provides programs and activities that are entertaining, educational, and diverse that complement college experience.

Programs and events include Atwood After Dark, Blizzardshack Block Party and Huskypalooza. Live entertainment includes bands, comedians, hypnotists, magicians, weekly Atwood Movie Night, Late Skates at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, Open Mic Night and more.

The spaceship, Starship Avalon, in its 120-year voyage to a distant colony planet known as the "Homestead Colony" and transporting 5,258 people has a malfunction in one of its sleep chambers. As a result one hibernation pod opens prematurely and the one person that awakes, Jim Preston (Chris Pratt) is stranded on the spaceship, still 90 years from his destination.

UPB Coffee House Series, Brett Wiscons

Location: Atwood Quarry

Coffee House is a series event that occurs once a month a semester. In this event we contract a performer to play music while students enjoy coffee/water and desserts that we provide. Brett Wiscons was born in Chicago and raised in Plymouth, IN. Brett Wiscons music is a range from Edwin McCain to Pearl Jam and Hootie and the Blowfish. His latest project reunited with two- time Grammy winning producer Mark Bryan. Brett has shared a bill with Darius Rucker, Zac Brown Band and Katy Perry.
